Set in a timeline where Earth was colonized by the Eltarian Empire after a devastating invasion by the Beast Brigade, the story introduces a world that views Rangers as threats. Lauren Shiba, the Red Samurai Ranger, is on the run from Earth’s Security Taskforce. After being wounded during a failed morph attempt, she’s rescued by Markon Zhao, a human/Aquitarian hybrid, and his dormmates Orion and Jun, an Eltarian. As they hide Lauren, tensions rise—her presence could endanger them all, but her knowledge may be key to resisting the new order.
Meanwhile, Rita Repulsa, imprisoned and introspective, begins to question the nature of good and evil in this altered reality. She sketches a new Ranger team, hinting at a philosophical shift that could redefine heroism itself.
