Red Sonja: She‑Devil With a Sword #1 Blank Cover Comic
Released 5/6/2026
Written by Rory McConville with art by Pablo De Bonis, this fierce new #1 forges a blood‑bright path into the next era of the She‑Devil With a Sword. When a brutal raid leaves a border village in ruins, whispers spread of an ancient power stirring beneath the sands—one tied to a forgotten chapter of Hyrkanian history. Drawn by both vengeance and duty, Red Sonja finds herself at the center of a conflict where sorcery, steel, and buried truths collide.
McConville brings sharp characterization and mythic weight to Sonja’s journey, balancing her hardened warrior’s resolve with the emotional scars she refuses to show. De Bonis’s artwork delivers sweeping landscapes, visceral combat, and a striking visual presence for Sonja—equal parts ferocity, grace, and unstoppable momentum.
This debut issue sets the stage for a saga of blood, fire, and destiny, honoring the legacy of the She‑Devil while carving a bold new direction for 2026.
